About
I'm Rakesh Dash, an IT Support Engineer based in Queens, New York. I currently work at RU Technologies providing Level 2–3 support to multiple business clients — managing endpoints with Intune and JAMF, administering Azure and cloud infrastructure, configuring firewalls and networks, and automating IT operations with PowerShell and Python.
Before that I spent three years at CMIT Solutions as a Desktop Support Specialist, handling everything from user onboarding and SaaS administration to Active Directory, endpoint security, AV/VC systems, and backup management. Between the two roles I've worked with dozens of businesses across industries and dealt with most of the IT problems a small or mid-sized company runs into.
I hold a Bachelor's in Computer Science and Information Security from John Jay College (CUNY) and six active certifications. I take on a small number of side projects so each one gets proper attention.
